DEADLINE, NEW CHAPTERS, ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION, AND LATE NIGHT JAZZ

Well, today is the day. If you read the chapter over the last few weeks, congrats, you read as fast as a fifth grader on holiday vacation. If you didn't; kick rocks. Anyways, we will be meeting at my man's jazz session (Matt Snow) in Williamsburg @ the Spike Hill bar. My dudes and I will be pre gaming in the city before the gig.

Anyways, the next week you should read Chapter 2 & 3. Also, don't be afraid to comment if you can't make it for discussion.

Comments on the First Chapter of "The Master Mind"

Firstly, upon a look at the book, on can clearly see that the key points, of this archived book, are clearly labeled. Which is dope for the reader who can't stand frivolous ideas in a book. However, some of the frivolous reading is important.

Anyways, (1)He takes a dope approach to bringing you to the realization of what the mind is using metaphors and psychological ideologies; (2)Then he describes the difference between the master mind and the ordinary mind and describes it metaphorically; (3) The dopest part is when he describes the three conditions of human mentality (excerpt posted on the hood scholar); (4)Describes, metaphorically, the ease of negative thought/idea removal; (5) the benefits of doing this;(6) What the Master Mind actually is, and is able to do.

I implore, the reader to really read the entire chapter, however, one can gain a very strong gist of the book from just skimming and using the on the side check marks (which is good practice for reading in college).

Holla Black.

Welcome ... (Chapter 1, Master Mind)

I have been meaning to do this for sometime; but I would like to welcome you to the book club. For the purpose of progress, I chose the first book, however, I will furthermore aim to allow users to vote on each title.

The way this will work is we will read and discuss a chapter a week. That's it. Discussion and debate will be head in the comments section. At some point, it may be possible, we meet somewhere within the NYC area. I will be advertising this book club for the next six weeks to ensure that we have a decent readership to contribute to conversation.

The first book will be: "The Master Mind: The Key To Mental Power, Development And Efficiency". The book is available free here: Click Here For Free Book
Chapter 1 - pg7 to pg18 - should be read by December 19th, feel free to comment about whatever, whenever, until then.

Peace.
